giving back

"In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive."' ~ {acts 20:35}

jj and i know we are blessed in so many ways.  we try to give back in ways that are personal to us.  earlier this year, a friend introduced me to an amazing organization {bless back worldwide}.  we read their blog...we cried, we smiled, we felt a need to get involved.  we reached out and became a sponsor to a child {zagolo, "z" for short}. z is 10 and likes spaghetti, the color green {also jj's fave} and matchbox cars.  we have been able to send letters back and forth.  it has really been a cool experience.  we encourage you to read all about the {amazing} work this organization is doing http://blessbackworldwide.org/.  jj and i intend to meet z in 2013.  we will post more about our trip and interactions with z.  for now, we look at this face and smile as if he were our very own.
